Q-Day is the point at which a quantum computer can break the public-key cryptography protecting current systems. The QSense Watch Q-Day predictor publishes a projected date derived from six tracked inputs: logical qubit count, the observed doubling interval derived from real milestone dates, error-correction overhead, algorithmic improvement, an expert-consensus anchor, and a penalty applied for unsourced movement. Month-over-month movement is capped so a single research sweep cannot swing the projection, and every change is published in a change log alongside the raw uncapped projection. The model reports a central projection and an uncertainty band rather than a single confident date.
